The Report Schedule feature allows you to automate the delivery of essential reports at predefined intervals, providing timely insights into your environment's ransomware readiness and recoverability status. Reports are delivered automatically to designated recipients, ensuring stakeholders stay informed without manual intervention.

Reports – Overview
The Reports – Overview page provides quick access to both AWS and VMware reports, organized into Summary Reports and Detailed Reports. From here, you can either run reports on-demand or schedule them for automated delivery.
Report Categories
AWS Reports
Summary Reports (PDF format)
Ransomware Readiness – Executive summary of your organization’s ransomware readiness posture and risk of data loss.
Account Summary – Summary of scanned assets by account.
Operational Summary – High-level overview of scan results, active threats, and protected data over the reporting period.
Detailed Reports (CSV format)
All Scans – Complete list of all scans to monitor Elastio protection.
Failed Scans – Details on any failed scans to aid troubleshooting.
Infected Files – List of compromised files for targeted remediation.
Assets Scanned – Detailed information about protected assets.
Infected Assets – List of compromised assets for remediation efforts.
VMware Reports

Actions
For each report type:
Schedule Reports – Opens the scheduling wizard to set frequency, recipients, and format for automated delivery.
On-Demand – Generates the report immediately for download.
This feature allows you to generate a report of all AWS scan activity either on-demand or on a scheduled basis. Reports can be sent automatically to specified recipients in your preferred format.
Modes
On-Demand – Generates the report immediately.
Schedule – Creates a recurring report based on the configured schedule.
Report Type
AWS All Scans – Includes all AWS scan results for the specified time range.
(Other report types are available depending on your system configuration.)
Fields
Name – Required. Give the report a clear and descriptive name.
Description (Optional) – Add extra context or purpose for the report.
Frequency – How often the report runs (Daily, Weekly, Monthly).
Start – Date when the scheduled report will begin running.
Range of Data – Time range for data included in each report (e.g., Today, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days).
Time Zone – The time zone used to determine scheduling times.
Recipients – Select one or more recipients to receive the report.
(Only users with valid email addresses in the system can be selected.)
Format
CSV – Generates the report as a downloadable CSV file (default and currently selected option).
Usage Tips
Use On-Demand mode for immediate analysis or ad-hoc reporting needs.
For compliance and regular monitoring, use Schedule mode to send reports automatically to stakeholders.
Keep your Range of Data consistent with your review process (e.g., “Last 7 Days” for weekly review meetings).
To schedule reports, select the report and select "Schedule reports".
Reports - Downloads
The Downloads tab lists all reports generated by your scheduled or on-demand report requests. From here, you can view report details, confirm generation times, and download results.
Filters & Search
Search – Enter keywords to filter reports by name or description.
Report Type – Narrow results to a specific report type (e.g., AWS Ransomware Readiness).
Date Range – Use From and To fields to filter reports generated in a specific timeframe. Click Clear to reset the date filter.
Reports Table
Each row represents a generated report and includes:
Schedule Name – The name assigned to the report when created.
Description – Optional text describing the report’s purpose (may be blank if none provided).
Report Type – The kind of report generated (e.g., AWS Ransomware Readiness, AWS All Scans).
Range of Data – The reporting period covered (start and end date/time).
Generated – The date and time the report was produced.
Action – Download icon to retrieve the report file.
Downloading Reports
Click the download icon in the Action column to save the report to your device.
Reports are typically in CSV format unless another format was selected during creation.
Tip:
Use consistent schedule names and descriptions when creating reports so you can quickly locate and identify them in the Downloads list.
Reports – Schedules
The Schedules tab displays all recurring report schedules you have configured. From here, you can review existing schedules, see when the next report will be generated, and manage or remove schedules.
Create a Report Schedule
Select a Report – Choose from available report types (e.g., AWS Ransomware Readiness Report, AWS All Scans).
Generate – Opens the scheduling wizard to set frequency, recipients, and output format.
Schedules Table
Each row represents a scheduled report and includes:
Name – The name of the scheduled report. Click to view more details or history.
Description – Additional context for the report (if provided).
Report Type – The type of report (e.g., AWS Ransomware Readiness Report).
Frequency – How often the report runs (Daily, Weekly, Monthly).
Last Generated – Date and time the most recent report was created.
Next Report Due On – Date and time the report is scheduled to run next.
Actions
Edit (Pencil icon) – Modify schedule details such as frequency, recipients, or report type.
Delete (Trash icon) – Remove the schedule. Once deleted, the report will no longer run automatically.
Tip:
Keep schedule names descriptive so they are easy to identify in the list, especially when managing multiple recurring reports.
