To configure webhooks in your Elastio tenant, follow the steps below.

Access Webhook Settings
- Navigate to the Settings section of your Elastio tenant.
- Select the Webhooks page.
Add a New Webhook
- Click the "Create new" button.
- In the pop-up window, provide the following details:
- Webhook Name: A descriptive name for the webhook.
- Endpoint URL: The URL where notifications will be sent.
- Authentication Option: Choose from no authentication, basic authorization, bearer token, or API key. Note: Authentication fields are limited to 255 ASCII characters.
- Description: An optional description of the webhook's purpose.
- Click "Next: Select events" to proceed.

Select Events and Severity:
- Choose the event types and their corresponding severity levels that you want to trigger the webhook.
For ransomware and malware alerts, select Asset as Event Type and Error as Severity. - After selecting, click the "Add" button to include them in the webhook.
- You can add multiple events to a single webhook.
- Choose the event types and their corresponding severity levels that you want to trigger the webhook.

Finalize and Test:
- Once all configurations are set, click the "Add Webhook" button to save.
- Optionally, use the "Test webhook" button to ensure the settings are correct and the webhook functions as expected.
