Access the Jobs Page
The Jobs page allows you to manage tasks for AWS Cloud Connectors and VMware Backup Connectors. To access it, click the Menu icon and select Jobs from the navigation menu.
Monitor Jobs
Elastio's Jobs page provides a centralized interface to monitor and manage various operations within your AWS environment. These operations are categorized into three main types:
- Cloud Connector Jobs: This section displays all scanning activities and integrity checks performed by Elastio, making it essential for daily monitoring and security oversight. You can track these jobs in real time, viewing their scheduled times, completion status, and detailed execution results.
- Deployment Jobs: This category includes tasks such as installing Cloud Connectors, analyzing target regions, refreshing asset statuses, performing inventory scans, and creating vaults in specified AWS regions and accounts.
- System Jobs: These are background tasks that evaluate Elastio Protection policies and execute them accordingly.
Each job entry on the Jobs page provides detailed information, including:
- Job Type and Task Description: Specifies the nature and purpose of the job.
- Cloud Connector Details: Displays the associated account number and AWS region.
- Asset Kind and Resource ID: Identifies the specific asset and its corresponding resource ID.
- Schedule and Completion Dates: Indicates when the job was scheduled and when it was completed.
- Current Status: Shows the present state of the job, such as pending, running, or completed.
Filtering Jobs
To facilitate efficient navigation and management, the Jobs page offers filtering options:
- Filtering Jobs: Utilize dropdown menus to select specific job types or statuses. Multiple filters can be applied simultaneously for refined searches.
- Detailed Progress View: Clicking on a job type reveals comprehensive details, including the progress of parent jobs and the status of associated child jobs, providing a complete breakdown of the operation.
By leveraging these features, you can effectively monitor and manage Elastio's operations within your AWS and On-Premise environments.
